Houston-based singer, songwriter, and visual artist Namone Eugene dropped his debut single “You Would Be Sure” at the end of March.
Eugene’s focus seems to be on using electronica and synth to create interesting loops and blending them with his voice to provide a smooth and sultry look into his lyrics. He eschews the overuse of ornamental vocal stylings prevalent in modern music to provide a simplicity that is intriguing and soothing, with a strong sense of beat lending power to the tune.
