Jamie Lee Curtis, award-winning actress and best-selling author, tells her story of recovery this month at The Waggoners Foundation Speaker Series 30th Annual Spring Luncheon.

“My recovery from drug addiction is the single greatest accomplishment of my life,” Curtis states in The Huffington Post. She shares further insights at the luncheon, hosted by the Council on Alcohol and Drugs Houston. The fundraising series supports the Council in raising much-needed financial resources to continue providing best-in-class services while turning no one away. Addiction affects one in four Houstonians and is included among cancer and heart disease as one of our nation’s most fatal diseases. The event is to be held on Thursday, April 25, 11:15 a.m.–1:30 p.m., at the Hilton Americas-Houston, 1600 Lamar Street. Tickets, starting at $150 per seat, and tables can be purchased online at council-houston.org.
