Attorney Connie Moore receives award at state bar convention

During the LGBT Law Section meeting during the State Bar of Texas annual convention, local attorney Connie Moore was honored with the Judge Norman Black Award. The award is given bestowed annually, acknowledging outstanding contributions to LGBT legal issues. Moore (left) is pictured here with Matthew P. McChesney, LGBT Law Section Chair. The convention was held June 14–15 at Houston’s George R. Brown Convention Center.
