The judge (Judge Charley Prine) is scheduled to sign his order tomorrow. It will prohibit William from leaving his children in my care (or in the care of any person not related to the children by blood or adoption).
There will be a protest tomorrow morning at 8:30 (meeting up at 8:00) at the courthouse, at 1115 Congress, Houston 77002. If you can figure out a way to be at the protest, please do. And bring a big fake flower (get it…Flowers?) and/or a poster. I think lots of people will be there, and I wanted to make sure that the guys in the dad’s group knew about it.
This case sets a horrible precedent for all gay parents. Please come support not just William’s children, but your own children, too. Also, please bring as many people with you as you can. It is important that we let people know what is happening to a parent just because he is gay.
