Pride Houston, Inc. is proud to announce its 2011 Grand Marshals at its annual kick off event. The winners are Bryan Hlavinka (male), Tammi Wallace (female), Duane and Judy Roland (honorary) and the Houston GLBT Center (organization).
Our Celebrity GM is Jonathan Lovitz who made international headlines when he refused to stand jury duty because the state of New York considers him to be a “second class citizen.”
“I can’t possibly be an impartial judge of another citizen,” he says, “when I’m a second class citizen in the eyes of the the legal system.”
