Even in tight job markets, it can be possible to find the right employment niche. As a community service, St. Paul’s United Methodist Church is offering a free three-week evening employment seminar to help people find their niche.
Organized by recruiting and staffing consultant Mac MacLaren, who also is a St. Paul’s member, the seminar will be from 6 to 9 p.m. on Tuesdays from February 15 to March 1. Sessions will include a time for networking and lead sharing plus these specific topics:

• The “Total Package”
• Your accomplishments worksheet
• Your Resume
February 22
• Concentrate on interviewing, including the pre-interview
March 1
• Your hidden network
• Effectively using your network
• Job lead sources — internet, recruiting firms, job fairs
