The Houston Chronicle named the androgynous (and out) Cassidy Haley’s debut EP, Little Boys and Dinosaurs, one of the “Top 10 Albums of 2009.” Dramatic and dripping with atmosphere, this follow-up LP is a little acoustic, a little electro, and then truly puzzles us with a hesitant cover of the Mercer/Mancini standard “Moon River.” Independent (www.cassidyhaley.com). —Review: Nancy Ford
