Grand opera meets techno pop in this pretentiously produced album showcasing the soprano’s considerable talent. The laudable concept misses the mark in execution, especially with the highly discordant “Ma Vie En Rose” and disco treatment of “Ave Maria,” but finishes nicely with Offenbach’s “Belle Nuit.” Posh Records (poshboy.com). –
