Dr. Randy Mitchmore has been appointed to the board of trustees of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Charitable Foundation. Mitchmore’s long-time benevolent passion, the Give Back a Smile program, which provides free consultation and dental treatments for survivors of domestic abuse, is a primary program of the AADCF.

Lynette Lew has been named top producer in the Prudential Gary Greene, Realtors Memorial office for July 2008. She was in the top 15% nationally for all Prudential agents for 2007 and is an annual multi-million- dollar top producer. Rob Scamardo has joined the law firm of Simoneaux and Frye, PLLC, as its newest partner. Scamardo joined the firm in January, focusing his practice on civil litigation, civil rights, nonprofit advising, and mediation. In addition to membership in numerous local political organizations, Scamardo currently serves on the board of Equality Texas.

Carrie Thompson, owner of Club Eden, a Clear Lake/Webster-area nightclub for lesbians, has joined with business partner Corey Cole to create Club Adam for gay men. With more than 10,000 square feet of space able to accommodate nearly 500 guests, Club Adam offers a stainless-steel dance floor and state-of-the-art sound system.
