SIN IS IN, SWEETIE
The newest Absolutely Fabulous (Ab Fab) begins with a view of Edina Monsoon (Jennifer Saunders) bending over with her rear end in our faces. Though there are numerous reasons why she might be in this position (we’ll pause here to give you time to deduce your own)...,

Edina is actually in a yoga position. Edina to her daughter Saffy (Julia Sawalha): "In a couple of weeks, I’ll be bending like Madonna, won’t I, darling? I’ll be able to kiss my own ass from both directions." • Edina and her best friend Patsy Stone (Joanna Lumley)–those two politically incorrect boozers and chain-smokers–are back on the tube with six new episodes! The other original cast members are back, too. • In that first episode, we find Patsy injecting parralox into her face to freeze her wrinkles; she can barely open her mouth. Do you suppose Edina gives it a whirl, too? Does the pope wear gowns? • In another episode, a subplot involves Radical Gay Pride, complete with T-shirts that read "Fists Across America: We’re not taking it lying down anymore." In order to get ex-model/actress Twiggy to become part of this pride package, Edina tells Twiggy that she’s a gay icon. • Absolutely Fabulous airs on Comedy Central at 8 p.m. on Mondays, the first episode airing Nov. 12. Don’t miss it, darling! Get more information at www.comedycentral.com. (On Nov. 9, an Ab Fab party is scheduled at JR’s. You can win Ab Fab prizes and catch sneak peeks of the new episodes.)

BOYS ON SHOW

Wonder Boys. Michael Douglas stars as an academic pot smoker who employs a gay editor (Robert Downey Jr.) who has a date with a transvestite (Michael Cavadias).
