OutSmart
expands its magazine distribution to Beaumont.
For the past six months, OutSmart has been
reaching the GLBT community in Beaumont and Port
Arthur through the help of Caleb Hutchins and
Angie and Robert Alvarado. The magazines are now
available at retail outlets, clubs, and on the
Lamar University campus. Specific locations include
the Sitzer Community Center of Lamar University,
Crockett St. Station (497 Crockett), Deons
(491 Fannin), and The Copa (304 Orleans).

a gold bricker for AIDS Housing! The AIDS
Housing Coalition Houston is having a gold
bricker fundraiser inviting the community to become
a total "Gold Bricker" for use in the
Montrose Cottages Transitional Living Program.
Purchase an AIDS Gold Brick for $25 or a pallet
of 10 Gold Bricks for $250. As no government contracts
are issued, this AIDS housing program depends
on public donations by people who care! Call for

or from clothing you really like. Most items are
produced quickly, depending on the complexity
