ROOM ON THE ISLAND
Galveston offers much family-friendly lodging
We love Galveston. Particularly from Splash weekend
in May through the hottest months, our community
motors down to the Island to bake on the beach
or shop on the Strand. Fortunately, our closest
Gulf Coast outpost offers plenty of gay-owned
and gay-friendly hotels and guesthouses to accommodate
the GLBT visitors.
Here is a selective list:
Paradise Guesthouse
Highlight: More than 100 varieties of tropical
plants fill the lush gardens at Eldridge Langlanais’
place (2317 Avenue P), located on the trolley
line and two blocks from the beach.
