The good news is that Mercury, planet of communications, goes direct on June 8. That means you will be able to start your new projects by the 11th. Tensions begin to wane and you will soon see life returning to normal now that May is over. • There are some eclipses this month. The new moon/solar eclipse is June 10 at 6:46 p.m. in Gemini–a good time to focus on daily activities and communication skills. The full moon/lunar eclipse is June 24 at 4:42 p.m. in Capricorn, highlighting emotional and familial security issues. • Days of fun and play are June 1—3, 19—20, 23, and 29. Days of tension are June 6—10, 24, and 28. • The Sun enters Cancer the first day of summer on June 21. Mercury dances about in Gemini. Venus swims through Cancer and fires into Leo on the 14th. Mars keeps the crabs boiling in Cancer while Jupiter keeps him company. Saturn’s at the gym in Gemini. Uranus and Neptune are getting aquatinted in Aquarius. And Pluto is cleaning up Sagittarius.

Aries (March 21—April 19) You just need to get all those ideas and thoughts out of your brain! Share them with everyone you meet. You are just so willing to talk to everyone. This is good if you are in sales. You may want to change some habits and do things differently so you don’t get bored with yourself. Home calls soon and you will want to have a more emotionally stable time. You will want to be the boss. If you have to share this job with someone else, you will have fireworks earlier than July 4. Work may be a wonderful place to escape to.

Taurus (April 20—May 20) You are balancing your checkbook, rethinking your investment plans, and trying to figure out how you spend your money. You are more conservative than usual and you want to know ahead of the game that you will be a winner. And yes, you will be sharing more about yourself with your partner. You are really ready to do something different with your life. Humdrum will drive the Bulls and Cows crazy. Toward the end of the month, you are ready for some ease and flow. No, you can’t get that at Walgreen’s, but you will be looking.

Gemini (May 21—June 21) Such an introspective time for the birthday Girls and Boys, Gals and Guys, Men and Women, or whatever politically correct form you would like to choose. Be sure to get all your ducks in a row because after the 11th, you are ready to re-enter the human race. Most everything is better. Even relationships are a bit easier. You are getting your life moving.

Cancer (June 22—July 22) Mars, planet of action, energy, and facial blemishes, moves through your sign this month. This is a month that we expect to see fast-moving crabs. Tell everyone they best just get out of the way. Excellent time to tackle projects that have needed an extra boost. Face those fears and shout boo at the family ghost. Or is that just your mother changing the sheets on the bed? You are just a people magnet. Everybody will want to know you. Great time to start a new business.

Leo (July 23—Aug. 22) You are trying to determine this month if that group association that you belong to is really worth the time and effort. And you must have tangible results by June 6. You are still feeling the social bug, and sitting at home is not your cup of tea. By mid-month, you are ready for some R&R. Visit your favorite spa or monastery. Have someone read the Tao Te Ching to you while you are having a pedicure. A relationship would be nice. Keep working on that list and let’s see what Santa brings you next year.

Virgo (Aug. 23—Sept. 22) You have been working overtime trying to figure out how to feel more connected to your current career path. And by the 10th, with the eclipse, you are ready to make some decisions in your life. You will refocus on what you are doing or start putting your résumés out on the streets. By mid-month, groups and friends get top priority rating–they can be helpful to your career interest and may even want to start dating you. Watch for those friends who will want to be a bit more than just "friendly."

Libra (Sept. 23—Oct. 23) This month you are a cross between a philosopher and a stand-up comedian. Sort of a stand-up philosopher. Before you take your copy of Plato and Kant to the corner and start preaching Ideal Forms and Categorical Imperatives to the teeming throngs, you may want to take a break and get away from the routines of daily life. But you will have all the answers, in case anybody wants to ask you. At mid-month, you are much more directed toward getting your career into gear. You will want to drive.

Scorpio (Oct. 24—Nov. 21) This is a bit of a lighter month for you, backing away from all the intense emotional analysis that you have been putting yourself (and everyone else) through. You might even tell a joke. And from this we begin to see the shy timid side of that vulnerable creature that you are. Relationships could actually be fun. As mid-month approaches, you are more communicative than ever. And deep feelings and thoughts emerge. You will be respected for your wisdom this month. Career opportunities are just around the corner.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22—Dec. 21) Since last month, you have been practicing breathing. This month, with all that practice, it may be almost natural. Yes, you have been busy. And yes, you over-committed. But you know you love it. Relationships are still a bit edgy if that certain someone can’t make up their mind. If they haven’t made a decision by the 10th, you will make it for them. You are future bound and they can get on the bus or not. But it leaves on the 10th. You will find yourself more settled than you have been this whole year.

Capricorn (Dec. 22—Jan. 19) You have been spending a lot of time getting your office and closets all clean. Now it is time to consider asking someone over to spend some time with you. You may not have everything in its place, but you are certainly getting bored with all the tidying up. Just have some chocolate and go out on a date. You are ready to mix your milk chocolate with their dark chocolate. You want adventure and (according to G. Marx) some Ha Cha Cha.

Aquarius (Jan. 20— Feb. 18) You are out of the spin cycle and you may feel as though you actually have a life. You are ready for something fun and something that stirs your creative juices. You are way past the need for escapist behavior. You are ready for Disneyland. By mid-month, the work demon re-enters your life and it is back to being a semi-responsible adult. You are ready for a new project, so that is good. Routines will make you into a lunatic. Avoid those if possible.

Pisces (Feb. 19—March 20) Your search for internal home is finally over. You are now ready to make an entrance back into the real world. You are feeling safe and secure now that you’ve put down all that excess family baggage. Paint your house, redecorate your bedroom, or build yourself a deck with a waterfall. As the summer begins, you are a social butterfly. You are ready for a fun time. And a bit of self-indulgence wouldn’t be bad at all.
