| Zounds! Gowns
No self-possessed queen in the public eye would
wear the same dress over and over. That’s
why some of the performers from the Royal Sovereign
& Imperial Court of the Single Star will give
a few of their retired gowns this month to the
Fairy Godmother Project. This charity collects
gently-worn donated dresses and accessories for
high school students who are not able to purchase
garments for proms or graduation events. Because
Fairy Godmother Ellen Chang (832/545-0202,
eychang@hotmail.com)
also seeks tuxedos, suits, and ties, tux-wearing
Royal Sovereign & Imperial nobility will hand
over their guy drag. —Tim Brookover
