HTGA (Helping Transgenders Anonymous) Directed
by Brenda Thomas, brendat@brenda.com. 12-Step-style
support group. Weekly meetings at Bering Memorial.
STAG (Some Transgenders Are Guys) For FTM transsexuals.

Tri-Ess (stands for "Three Ss,"
the Society for the Second Self) National sorority
for heterosexual crossdressers and their families.
The Houston chapter is Tau Chi and holds monthly

the Spouses and Partners International Conference
of Education (SPICE), a non-crossdressing event
for wives and spouses, a summer conference, originated
by Houstonian Peggy Rudd.
Political
TGAIN (Texas Gender Advocacy and Information Network)

gender-variant individuals (in all of our diverse
forms), spouses (no matter how the term spouse
is defined), and families. Because gender-variant
individuals may be of any (or no) sexual orientation,
we support positive gay, lesbian, bisexual, and
gender-variant legislation and services."
