Relationships get more clarity and move toward the future and away from the past as Venus goes direct on April 20. Before that, this is the time to review just what you want and what your partner wants, and then see if those things are vaguely similar. Saturn, planet of structure, work, and discipline, enters the sign of Gemini on April 20. Time for the Geminis to be serious. Okay, I was just kidding. Time for Geminis to tell everyone else they need to get serious. The Sun enters Taurus on April 19 and Earth Day follows on the 22nd. Mercury is busy this month starting off the month in Pisces, swimming over to Aries on the 6th and ramming her way into Taurus on the 21st. Venus, still in Aries. Mars, still in Sagittarius. Saturn joining Jupiter in Gemini. Uranus and Neptune are being friends in Aquarius. Pluto seeks the truth in Sagittarius.

Aries (March 21—April 19) This is the time of the year that is all about you. You are supposed to be thinking and talking about you. And if others need a topic of conversation, ask them what they think about you. Your energy is strong and you are ready to take on new projects in your life. If you were going to think about the past, forget it. It has passed. You are more magnetic than usual so if you are needing some company, this would be a good month to look for people to help you celebrate your birthday. In business or personal, this is a good time to market yourself to others. If you are already involved, get a new outfit. They will appreciate the new scenery.

Taurus (April 20—May 20) Spending time in the stable or the corral will be good for you this month. You are more sensitive than usual, and those bad people out there are not finding any lambs for the slaughter. Keep your hooves where you can see them. Life has to have a deeper meaning for you, just the normal day-to-day existence will feel very shallow this month. Work will seem very humdrum. Spend some time with your friends or get involved in some community projects. This will make you feel like your life has meaning and that you are making a difference while you are on this planet. By the 20th, open those gates! You are ready for a stampede.

Gemini (May 21—June 21) Time to get back in touch with those friends that you have not had contact with. If you are more work-inclined, then get with some networkers. You can have social contacts, business potentials, and someone to go to dinner with. Romantic relationships are very active this month. It will be like walking over those hot glowing coals: It is very exciting as long as you don’t stand in one place too long. If you are in a relationship, you need an adventure. One of you gets a lion costume and the other gets the whip and the chair. But remember, you are a dual sign–change roles, you can play both parts.

Cancer (June 22—July 22) You are so work- and career-focused you would make a Capricorn jealous. You are trying to make your life more secure. And right now you are in the public eye. Don’t sneak out to the store in those rollers, you will run into everyone you know. You are experiencing a low tolerance level for bull malarkey and are very apt to speak your mind this month. And the funny thing is that, whatever you say, we will know it is right and should be said. But, we ain’t saying it. You have that hard crab shell that bullets can’t pierce. You be the messenger. Relationships did you say? How about Paintball war games with your loved one?

Leo (July 23—Aug. 22) Most of the planets are in air and fire signs this month and you are in a mellow cat mood. You are ready to lie in the sun and have someone special bring you margaritas. This is a great time for taking a break or being very diplomatic with clients and customers. Creativity is just oozing from your pores. You can soothe over the roughest areas. For those of you born July 29—August 1 and August 15—18, you are on a relationship roller-coaster ride. Fortunately by the end of the month, you will be more concerned about your career path, and that will bring you and the rest of the Leos back to level ground.

Virgo (Aug. 23—Sept. 22) Big news for the Virgins: Saturn, planet of the future and the Big Boss moves into your career sector for the next two years. And this will make all of you Persephones happy to be working again. Lots of responsibility and public recognition is coming your way. Oh, you have to step up and be in charge. And if you have to step on your boss to get there, that is okay. They were just there holding your spot in line. Financial and career security are big on your menu this year. You won’t be denied and may even end up starting your own business. Romantic relationships are very good since you are looking for practical and stable plans for the future. And if your partner knows QuickBooks, that is an extra plus for your future business and stability in your relationship.

Libra (Sept. 23—Oct. 23) Your ruling planet, Venus, is retrograding in your solar seventh house of relationships. In English, this means you are going back over stuff in your relationship that you and your partner have argued about 1,000 times before. There is no moving ahead until you get this stuff cleared up. A mediator of sorts would help–a therapist, minister...but not an ex. If that is your solution, might as well start splitting up the CD collection. This is true for business partnerships too. Time to get on the same page, work in the same box, run it up the flag pole, or some other business term. You are interested in finding someone you can really be open with and not just nice.

Scorpio (Oct. 24—Nov. 21) You are in an organizing mood this month. You are looking back at your past performance at work and where you are now. If there are employee problems, you are leading the pack in expressing your point of view. You are tired of hearing the "team" lecture and want the boss to be in there and be a worker as well as a leader. Some of this may stem from the fact that you are not feeling all that valued. After the 20th, you move your laser beam to relationships. If you don’t have one, you will want one. If you have one, they had better make you know it.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22—Dec. 21) Such a time of relationships for you. Some are coming to an end and some are just beginning. In established relationships such as legal partnerships and romantic commitments, you need to look at where you are going. Are you both working from the same agenda? You are not so romantic as you are looking to use your energy for practical establishment of a foundation that can carry you and those loved ones through your later years of AARP and Dentu-Cream. If you are not involved, you are looking at those potential partners with a very discriminating eye. You will move with caution and certainty.

Capricorn (Dec. 22—Jan. 19) Home projects and family outings take the spotlight for you this month. Just what sort of history and traditions are you establishing for you and your special lifestyle? Invite those friends and family members in for an early barbecue. Or plunge into an early spring cleaning. Look in all those boxes that you put in the attic and forgot about. Take a trip down Nostalgic Boulevard. This could look like moving, redecorating, or going to visit your parents. You need some connections to your roots. Plant a vegetable garden. That will help give you that needed earthy connection and sense of spiritual rootedness that you are needing.

Aquarius (Jan. 20— Feb. 18) You are more talkative than usual this month, sharing things about your personal life that you normally keep to yourself. Your friends are probably wondering just who you are. Friendly but reserved, you ordinarily keep most of this data to yourself. Too many experiences from your family taught you that anything that you exposed about yourself was used against you. This is a time to test that theory and maybe eliminate those who treat you like your family did instead of resorting to old behavior. At the end of the month, you will want your home to be a more comfortable place. Time for a trip to the home-decorating center.

Pisces (Feb. 19—March 20) Big changes at work this year. And this is just the first round of changes. Some of you are making plans to take you far away from where you have been working. You are being faced with a lot of decisions about whether or not you want to stay and ride out the changes. Money issues are being rubbed in your face this month. If you have made the decision, you are wondering if you made the right one. But staying still doesn’t seem like an option. Behind all this are some basic shifts in your roots and your family. You are re-establishing your foundation. But this time, you get to choose the one you want and not have to accept the one you came with.
