Jupiter goes direct (or forward) on March 1. All the outer planets including Pluto, Neptune, Uranus, Saturn, and Jupiter go retrograde each year for about four months. Retrogradation is when the Earth and that particular planet are on the same side of the Sun. And all retrograde motion usually indicates a time when that energy symbolized by the planets effects us internally or in a more unconscious fashion. Venus and Mars are retrograde about every two years and Mercury is retrograde three times a year. The only planet going retrograde this month is Pluto. • The Sun begins the month in Pisces but enters Aries, the first day of spring, on March 20. Mercury, racing along, begins in Aquarius, enters Pisces on the 11th and Aries on the 29th. Venus begins in Pisces and enters Aries on the 7th. Mars is visiting Taurus this entire month. The rest of the planets are still in the same signs they have been, Jupiter in Cancer, Saturn in Gemini, Uranus and Neptune in Aquarius, and Pluto in Sagittarius.

Pisces (Feb. 19—March 20) Living on the edge of the fault line and coming to your yearly solar cycle. You are assessing so much of what you used to do and what you used to be. And how little interest you have in those things. But you are afraid to trust those new things out there because they could take the next bus out of town. Life in general gets better but not until after the end of May. And your career will become a lot more stable at that time. Otherwise, just hang on, the star light is at the end of the tunnel.

Aries (March 21—April 19) Part of you wants to spend time in meditation exploring your spiritual domain. And the other part wants to go on a shopping/indulgence spree. You will be attracting people to you like a magnet. You may want to avoid religious places with good-looking clergy members. This energy could surely help your business or work environment. You’ll find people are just so helpful. Relationships will be better, but tired routines will have you daydreaming about Greek goddesses and gods.

Taurus (April 20—May 20) This is your month to get those projects started. And you’ll find friends and business associates are really interested in helping you get what you want. However, March 14—16 are not great days for business–but they are wonderful days for escaping the humdrum. Your sexual energy is stronger than usual. This can be a great month for meeting new people or relighting the inner flame between you and your lover. Unexpressed, this will show up as arguing and fighting.

Gemini (May 21—June 21) You are more serious than usual this month. Career and long-term security goals top the list of fun and excitement in your life. You have become a force to be reckoned with at work. Even though you are extra nice and flexible, others will still be intimidated. Relationships are still edgy. And if a person is not willing to go to Hell and back with you twice, just what kind of person are they? You will be leaving Hades by the end of May but not before then.

Cancer (June 22—July 22) The Moon kids have become so social this year, just itching to get out there and meet new people. New doors are opening up for you. This is certainly not a time you want to remain in bed. Your career is even more activated by mid-month and only gets busier. People will want to be around you just to rub up against your crabby shell. Don’t forget about that special person at home while you are basking in the glory of your self.

Leo (July 23—Aug. 22) You will feel more grounded after March 11. You have just been on a short vacation where you have not wanted to do anything you didn’t have to do. You are going to be more focused on work and career objectives. You are in a dilemma with relationships because you would really like a partner, but you don’t want a commitment to get in the way. You may avoid romance all together and just hang out with your friends. Then when you tire of their company, you can just go home.

Virgo (Aug. 23—Sept. 22) You are desperately seeking divine inspiration. Your lovely routines don’t hold the glamour for you that they once did. Now, scrubbing the floor just seems like scrubbing the floor. You have not been the most motivated sign since the end of December, but you are slowly getting those engines in gear. Everyone you have been meeting is doing something special and exciting and you want to know when you are going to find yours. Romantic partners can be very helpful in helping you finding Nirvana. Just ask, they are only too eager to help.

Libra (Sept. 23—Oct. 23) Selling yourself and/or your ideas is favored by the stars this month. This can be the time to take on a new project or seek a new position at another place of employment. Whichever direction you go, things will turn out in your favor. The public eye is watching you. And potential relationships will be knocking at your door. Be careful that they don’t take advantage of your good will. Relationships are calmer this month. You are not as combative and may prefer to find resolution in the bedroom.

Scorpio (Oct. 24—Nov. 21) Your relationships are really heating up this month. You may want to visit Hot Springs just to express that unexpressed libido. Yes, I know at work they really want your organizational skills. Be careful that you don’t end up doing their work for them instead of inspiring them to find a solution on their own. Great month for a visit to your health specialist or to get back on that diet. You are ready to make another go of it.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22—Dec. 21) As your month begins, you are focusing on home and family and setting your roots down in boggy marsh. Maybe a lake house or beach cabin will do. You are still in the mist, emerging from your chrysalis. Who and what shall you be? This has put a big strain on your romantic relationships since you don’t know who you are or what you want from the people around you. Work routines are better this month but you don’t have much patience for people around you who can’t carry their own weight.

Capricorn (Dec. 22—Jan. 19) You are so interested in getting your views and ideas out to those around you. You will be more than helpful with suggestions and hints at work. Others may see you as a bit bossy, but you are coming from your heart. Romantic relationships can be really great this month. If you are in one, it will improve, and if you are looking, you will find someone. Take some time to visit the doctor. She can give you some good advice and boost your energy levels.

Aquarius (Jan. 20— Feb. 18) Your attention turns to money, personal resources, talents, and skills. The first part of the month, you are assessing just what talents you have, if any, and then if you are being rewarded or recognized adequately for those talents. If you are not, gosh, are you going to raise a stink. Of course, for those who are appreciating you, you will bestow your beneficence on them. Even though you are searching for your spiritual self, you are more ready for commitment than ever. Activities at home increase.
