Jay

At the Christian Page murder vigil in Chicago. At least one transgender person is brutally murdered each month. Because the victim is generally seen as a disposable person, their murderers tend to get away with their crimes, and there is little follow-up investigation. To counteract stereotyping, and force greater follow-up, a greater number and variety of transgender activists and friends are showing up at events. Jay is in the beginning stages of female-to-male transition.
