For the past 25 years, OutSmart has celebrated Houston’s LGBTQ fan favorites with our annual Gayest & Greatest Readers’ Choice Awards. Readers participate in the competition by voting for their top choices in a variety of categories—from people in our community to the arts, to real estate, and nightlife. This year’s winners will be announced in our October 2022 issue.

between now through August 28.
This stage of the competition garners thousands of participants. • After the nominations are tabulated and the finalists in each category are identified, we’ll invite you to select winners in another round of voting. You may vote one time per category each day.
HOW TO VOTE:
1. For first-time users, click on a category and begin by nominating one of your favorites. Fill in the registration form below your entry. Check your email to activate your registration link.
2. Registered users may cast a new ballot once per day. WIN BIG! The winner of the Favorite LGBTQ Philanthropic Organization will receive OutSmart’s $5000 prize package consisting of cash and an advertising scholarship! All participants who complete the ballot will be entered into a drawing for a $500 gift-card package from OutSmart and participating advertisers.
