Frank Galati adaptation based on the Pulitzer Prize winning novel The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck. Directed by Rebecca Bernstein, the production is the familiar story of the down-on-their-luck Joad family that must leave everything that is near and dear to them behind and strike off in hopes of finding a better life. The diverse cast features Brian Heaton the 2012 and 2013 Best Actor of the Splatterfest short film competition as Tom Joad. Popular local actress Sheryl Croix as Ma Joad, Neil Ellis Orts as Pa Joad, Steven Martinez as the irrepressible Grandpa Joad, and features Sasha Redmon as vocal soloist. Olivia Clayton as Rose of Sharon is captivating in her portrayal of the young pregnant woman that rises to greatness from tragic circumstances.
