New works in progress by six of Houston’s hottest artists will be showcased at Field Day on Saturday, May 4, at 7pm at Midtown Arts and Theater Center Houston. This professionally produced evening features a modern dance performance by Adam Castaneda; dance, spoken word, and visual art by Uwazi Zamani; Kalpana Subbarao will perform Kathak, an Indian classical dance with Flamenco; Ayan Felix will perform a new dance work; Maggie Lasher will perform a buugeng dance solo; Tom Yeager will share an aural story. Core Dance, The Field NYC, and Dance Source Houston present Field Day annually.
