On June 2, Taste Bar + Kitchen’s Executive Chef/Owner, Chef Don Bowie, is taking the hiring process to new heights in the first ever Cocktail Warz. For the last month, Chef Bowie has received a flood of applications from the city’s top talent who are fighting to earn a coveted spot-on the mixology teams of Taste Kitchen + Bar and the yet to open Rare. In an effort to see their skills in action, the group will create a signature cocktail that will be judged by Chef Bowie and a panel of spirit enthusiasts, local influencers and media to determine who will join their team. First, second and third place winners receive monetary prizes and positions at each restaurant. Expect an evening of cocktails, live entertainment and a competitive spirit served on the rocks.
