Join Fresh Arts and the Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs for a special evening celebrating the close of Artist INC Houston- Spring 2018 session. The free event will feature a cocktail reception and short visual presentations by the second graduating Artist INC Houston class which includes a diverse group of 25 of Houston’s brightest and most driven visual and performing artists.
Over the last 8 weeks, these artists have gathered one night a week to develop their entrepreneurial skills and strengthen their artistic practice through mentorship opportunities, expert presentations, and peer networks. Now in its ninth year, the Artist INC program has been completed by nearly 1,000 regional artists.

Artist INC Houston Spring 2018 Peer Facilitators include Emanualee “Outspoken” Bean (The Outspoken Bean), Felipe Lopez (Felipe Lopez (Artist)), Tami Merrick (Scaped Senses by Tami Merrick and Nicola Parente), Mollie Haven Miller, Lori Yuill, and Dominique Royem.
Artist INC 2018 participants were selected with the help of local creative experts: Christine West, GONZO247, Roberta Paixao Cortes, and Matt Detrick.
Artist INC is a collaborative partnership between Mid-America Arts Alliance, and the University of Missouri-Kansas City Innovation Center.
