As the month begins, we continue to be under the influence of Mars Retrograde. It is a good time to restart your health and diet programs for the New Year, and a great time to stand up for yourself where you haven’t in the past. It is best not to start a new romantic relationship during this month, unless you are getting involved with someone from your past. Valentine’s Day is a great time to celebrate your existing relationships. • Jupiter has moved into Pisces. This will be a very busy and growth-oriented time for Pisces, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Gemini. Be careful that your enthusiasm doesn’t overload your schedule. • Positive days this month are the 5th, 6th, 12th, 15th, 16th, 23rd, and 28th. Days to keep a low profile are the 8th, 13th, 14th, and 27th.

ARIES (March 21–April 19). This is quite a social month for you. You are making contacts with friends that you have not seen in awhile. This can be a very good networking time, especially for reestablishing connections that you have ignored or forgotten about. This is a time to reassess your relationships. You are attempting to establish some new long-term goals for your relationship. If you don’t, it may be a sign that the relationship is coming to an end. You seem a bit more ready to compromise. There is a lot of career shifting going on for those of you born in the first four days of the sign. Keep your résumé updated.

TAURUS (April 20–May 20). This is a big career month for you. You have been dealing with some tension at work. You are pushing your own agenda at work and haven’t been very flexible. Keep your long-term goal in mind. You may win the battle but alienate your boss or coworkers. By mid-month, begin to shift your focus to friends, groups, and networking. There are lots of new options opening up there, and you will find some needed support. Family could be very irritating this month. You may want to avoid family events until after mid-March.

GEMINI (May 21–June 21). With Jupiter, planet of growth and expansion, moving into your career sector for a one-year stay, there should be new opportunities for you. These could include promotions, more travel in your work, or even going off on your own. You will want to wait until mid-March before you start responding to any offers. As the month begins, you are in a more laid-back mode. This would be a great time for classes or spending some social time with friends. Watch your driving in mid-month—you are not giving it your full attention. By the end of the month you are in full stride.

CANCER (June 22–July 22). Your concern about security this month really emphasizes your current financial situation. You are working very hard to get everything in order. There is a great drive to get the home and family area of your life organized. That will only get stronger as we get into summer. You are not so happy with some of your disorganization. Relationships could be a bit tense as you are attempting to get more intimate with your partner. Truths are revealed. Pay attention, as these truths can help ease some of the tensions you are feeling. You can take a deep breath near the end of the month.

LEO (July 23–August 22). With Mars still retrograding in your sign, you have been needing to take a good look at your self, your needs, and how others respond to this side of your personality. If there have been issues in the past that needed addressing, this is certainly the time for you to face those problems. A resolution must be found, as this problem won’t go away on its own. Relationships could take the greatest hit this month. Continue to focus on your health, diet, and exercise as an outlet for some of the tension.

VIRGO (August 23–September 22). You are in a big organizing campaign. The clutter around your office has to be cleaned up. You will have to resist some urges to shuck it all and go do something more fun. This will be very strong during mid-month. Jupiter, planet of travel and publishing, has moved into your relationship sector and will be there for the next year. You are in a great time for meeting someone new, enhancing your existing relationship, or simply increasing your social environment. Some of you will really get the travel bug by the end of the month.

LIBRA (September 23–October 23). This month could be a nice break for you, since life has been handing you a very serious time. Be sure to get some rest and recharge during the first half of the month. You can already feel that work is going to be extra busy this year. As you continue to work at establishing boundaries, you will certainly be tested if you can successfully say no. There are big shifts in the family for you. You could be moving, remodeling, or redecorating. If you have children, this is a great month to spend time with them. They will remind you that life is really about play. By mid-month, you are ready to get your life back on track.

SCORPIO (October 24–November 21). Your focus for the month is on family and creating an emotional foundation. Some of you may have family members who are older, and you are being pressured to step up and take on a larger role in the family. You can’t have this thrust upon you. To avoid feeling trapped and restricted, you will need to freely choose this position. There is a lot of friction at work. There could be many prima donnas that you are trying to satisfy, and they are creating problems for you. By the end of the month, you are ready for a break from your routines. Take some time to relax.

SAGITTARIUS (November 22–December 21).  You are speaking your truth this month. You are not exhibiting a lot of patience with people in your immediate environment. Your actions are just a bit ahead of your thoughts and the explanations you give for your actions and choices. Give your thoughts some time to catch up and you won’t be so frustrated. This is a good month to visit siblings or people from your childhood. You are beginning to feel like doing some remodeling at your home, or perhaps even moving. For some, this may be a business relocation rather than a move to a new home. New friends and potential partners are on the horizon.

CAPRICORN (December 22–January 19). As the month begins, you are focused on money and financial security. On a personal level, you are concerned about how you are treated and what your real value is to others. You certainly won’t allow others to take advantage of you since you will be speaking up more than usual. You just aren’t as patient. This is a great month to get finances in order and to take care of any old debts. As we get near the end of the month, you notice that you get busier with mundane tasks. There are just lots of fun people to talk to in your everyday encounters. Take a rest and enjoy yourself.

AQUARIUS (January 20–February 18). Happy Birthday to the Aquarians. You are in a review time and getting yourself ready for new projects this year. You should expect to really start those after March 15. There are new relationship possibilities after that time. Focus on existing relationships as well—they really need some nurturing. If you have been arguing a lot, this is a sign that you are not paying enough attention. Watch your spending by the end of the month. You are ready to indulge and may not worry about where the money comes from to pay for your toys.

PISCES (February 19–March 20). With your birthday approaching, February is about resting, relaxing, and meditating. This would be a great time to make sure that you spend your time with people that you really like and that you feel very comfortable with. Your anger is likely to be showing at work, where you seem to feel safe expressing your overall unsettled mood. Be careful that you don’t alienate coworkers. They could come back in about a year and create some problems for you. With Jupiter entering your sign for the next year, this will be a very growth-oriented time for you, and most of the changes will be positive.
