Apparently, the lead single of this album, “WTF,” was inspired by his breakup with a closeted celebrity. Unfortunately, his album is less WTF and more Whatever. Zarley’s new release is seemingly heartfelt, but fails to meet any common criteria of vocal range or lyrical quality. He needs to focus on the music, not the out-of-studio drama.
