General Information: June is just packed with astrological happenings. First, there is the solar eclipse on June 1 and the lunar eclipse on June 15. Neptune goes retrograde on the 3rd. Jupiter enters Taurus for the first time in 12 years on June 4. And, last but certainly not least, Saturn goes direct on the 12th. And all of that happens in the first two weeks of the month! That should keep our dance cards filled. • The June eclipses are bringing to light communication, daily habits, and how those things connect us with people everywhere. Jupiter will be in Taurus from now until June 2012. This is very good for the fixed signs of Taurus, Scorpio, Leo, and Aquarius. And our good friend Saturn, planet of hard work, internal criticism, and future security, goes direct and begins to influence the cardinal signs—Aries, Libra, Cancer, and Capricorn. • The sun begins the month in Gemini, and enters Cancer on the 21st (also known as the summer solstice or first day of summer). Mercury quickly enters Gemini, its ruler, on the 2nd and then moves into Cancer on the 16th. Venus continues her journey through Taurus, her rulership, and makes her way into Gemini on the 9th. Mars is plowing his way through Taurus but enters the lighter environment of Gemini on the 20th. And even Jupiter changes signs on the 4th, moving into Taurus for the next year. Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto continue to stay in their same signs. • Good days for this month are the 4th, 5th, 7th, 8th, 12th, 17th, 18th, 19th, 25th, and 27th. Days to keep the shades drawn are the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 10th, 15th, 21st, 22nd, and 28th.

ARIES (March 21–April 19). The grouping of planets that were in your sign for the past two months have moved on. This should immediately give you some relief from the emotional intensity. The planets have moved into your money sector. This can be a good time to confront financial difficulties. It is a very good time to look at your sense of self-worth and try to raise it. Watch your impulsive spending until that urge subsides on the 20th. Career activities are tense, so try to keep things in perspective.

TAURUS (April 20–May 20). With Jupiter entering your sign for the next 12 months, this is going to be a busy and productive year. Jupiter is considered “The Great Benefic,” and activities favored under Jupiter are travel, school, and expanding your life with greater social contacts and broader horizons. Jupiter can also make you take on too many activities and over-schedule yourself. This month you are more impulsive in your choices. After the 20th, you’ll become more level-headed.

GEMINI (May 21–June 21). Happy Birthday to the Geminis. This is your yearly solar cycle, or solar return, as we say in Astrologese. As your birthday approaches, you are supposed to reflect on last year’s plans and set new paths to follow in the upcoming year. Relationships and charisma improve after the 9th and the 20th. Career choices become more difficult as you seek work that is more fulfilling. Get out and get social after the 20th. Your confidence is strong, and that will certainly show.

CANCER
(June 22–July 22). You are in a bit of a retreat time. And yet, you are still interested in being with a few select friends—but without all the drama. Groups and friendships can be especially important for you. Career activities favor mixing business and pleasure. You will be attracting people to you. Existing relationships are rocky, but together you can unearth those rocks and make your path smoother. Without that team effort, the two of you could find your relationship coming to an end. By the end of the month, you are almost back to your old self.

LEO (July 23–August 22). Get your résumé in order—your career opportunities are about to blossom. This is a great time to look for a new position if you are unhappy with your current employment. And if you are happy where you are, there’s a good chance for a promotion and a salary increase. Relationships are still a bit tricky, and they may not really clear up until 2013. By mid-month you are ready for some retreat, but you may be so busy that you don’t take it. Friends also become more important at month’s end.

VIRGO (August 23–September 22). Finally, the Virgoans get a break during the first half of this month. You are very philosophic as the month begins, able to see the bigger picture and how everything is connected. This is especially true for those of you born in the earliest days of the sign. Toward the end of the month, your career sector is re-energized and you are busy and active. Be ready to show people who’s the boss—that had better be you! You are still feeling the need for extra freedom. Make sure you get it.

LIBRA (September 23–October 23). There is a lot going on this month for the Librans. Some of you are moving or remodeling, or perhaps considering relocating for a new career. Others are dealing with a total shift in their family hierarchy. Those in a relationship become more demanding, and both of you may try to take charge of your relationship. You need to share more—you don’t have to do all the work. A career focus returns by the end of the month, and you could be pushing yourself after the 20th.

SCORPIO (October 24–November 21). Relationship energies are really strong this month and next. If you are happy, this is a great time for you and your partner. If you are single or bored with your partner, this is a time when you will be hungry for a new relationship. At the very least, this is a great social time when you can easily impact others, either personally or professionally. You become more focused on your resources by the end of the month. Don’t act hastily. Your intuition may be right, but you’ll also need to do the research to back up those gut feelings.

SAGITTARIUS (November 22–December 21). Sagittarians are the citizens of the world, and this year many of you are wondering just where you should be living. This is especially true for those of you born in the earliest days of the sign. Work and health habits get your attention as the month opens. This is a great time to break bad habits and clean up your workspace. Relationship energy could pick up as soon as the 9th, but after the 20th you may need to wear your asbestos panties. Take some risks with your relationships—this is the time for it.

CAPRICORN (December 22–January 19). What isn’t going on with the Capricorns? Pluto is changing your identity, your look, and your relationships. Saturn is dancing in your career sector, making sure that you are serious. Uranus is in the home/family area, so you are out shopping for a new family. As the month begins, your interests focus on personal pleasure. Reorganization of the office or workplace begins around mid-month. And relationships become important as those issues are brought to the surface by the end of the month. And remember, you are changing your identity but are not yet sure who you will become.

AQUARIUS (January 20–February 18). You’ve been in the mood to get your home and family into shape, and that continues to build this month. You’ll be doing a massive home clear-out and cleanup, tossing many things to the curb. You are more than ready to make your home a safe place to be. At work, ideas come to you out of the blue. Your creative intelligence is just flowing. You will also begin some cleanup at work by the end of the month.

PISCES (February 19–March 20). You have been speaking your mind lately, and that is not going to stop. Some of you are interested in getting more education, or relocating to a new job. Your ability to communicate is just getting better and better. By mid-month, you shift your focus to home and family. This is a wonderful time to have friends in for a barbeque or some other familial gathering. It’s also a good time for home repairs of any sort. By the end of the month, you are ready to indulge yourself in some good things.
