Marriage equality activist and attorney Jerry Simoneaux,has accepted a staff attorney position with Judge Kathy Stone of Probate Court One, effective June 1. His responsibilities include the review of all pleadings in guardianship actions, setting the docket for contested and uncontested matters, as well as providing assistance on substantive and procedural issues to attorneys. “As a public service of the Court, I also plan to speak at continuing legal education courses around the state on guardianship, probate, and estate planning issues,” Simoneaux says. • The Simoneaux Law Firm, located in 12 Greenway Plaza, remains open for referrals and other assistance until November 30.
